There are eight basic steps in establishing your operations within a Port Authority Free Zone.

These steps are a follows:
  1. The company makes an initial contact with the Free Zone Administrator.

  2. The company submits a Free Zone Application

  3. The company applies to be incorporated / registered locally.

  4. The project is analyzed and submitted for approval.

  5. Once approval is granted, Customs and other agencies are notified of the company's Free Zone status.

  6. The company applies for work permits, electricity and telecommunication services. Workers are identified and interviewed.

  7. The company ships its machinery and other equipment. Electricity and telephone services are connected.

  8. Project commences.
