Air Transportation

The Free Zones in Jamaica are serviced by two international airports, one in Kingston, the Norman Manley International Airport and the other, the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Both airports are within 30 minutes drive from the Free Zones respectively and are served by several international airlines offering scheduled direct passenger and freight services to most cities in North America, the Caribbean, Europe, South America and onwards to the Far East. The Sangster International Airport was recently developed as a passenger hub for international flights to and from major metropolitan cities in the United States, for Jamaica's national airline, Air Jamaica.

Jamaica also has an internal domestic airline, which operates from the Tinson Pen Aerodrome in Kingston to Montego Bay and other airstrips throughout the country. The Tinson Pen Aerodrome is situated 3 minutes from the Kingston Free Zone. Charted air services are also available.

Transshipment Facilities

Port Bustamante, the Caribbean's most modern and advanced Transshipment port, is situated in the Kingston Harbour midway between North and South America. The Port is adjacent to the Kingston Free Zone to which it is connected by a common gateway. The Kingston Harbour ranks seventh among the world's largest natural harbours. More information on the Transshipment Port can be viewed at Seaports of Jamaica
