The Kingston Free Zone and the Portmore Informatics Park are managed by the Kingston Free Zone Company Limited, a limited liability company jointly owned by the Port Authority of Jamaica and the Government of Jamaica.

The Montego Bay Free Zone is managed by the Montego Bay Free Zone Company Limited which is similar in nature to that of the Kingston Free Zone's Management Company. This Zone offers facilities for Manufacturing as well as the Information Technology sectors in an environment that reflects the business-like but relaxing setting that is synonymous with the hospitality industry which dominates this region of Jamaica.

Since 1998, there has been a merger of the management of all three Zones to improve efficiency of operations, rationalization and enhancement of the quality of services to the investors.
