Jamaica has an excellent education system. As a result, a constant stream of extremely trainable young people are always available.

In addition to the many institutions providing general education up to age 17 or 18, there are many higher level training institutions providing world class specialized training in the Arts, Sciences and technical disciplines.

One of the major training institutions providing skills for the Jamaican workforce is the H.E.A.R.T Trust, which is Jamaica's national training agency. It is a public sector organization of the Government of Jamaica, which enables public and private, technical and vocational, educational and training institutions to efficiently produce adequate numbers of skilled and semi-skilled workers to meet the requirements of sector which are relevant to the national development priorities, and in accordance with accredited standards of proficiency.
